You can easily return any item you purchased from Lowe’s in the US if you’re not quite satisfied with it.

Except as specified in our Return Policy Exceptions, most brand-new, unused items may be returned or exchanged within 90 days of the date of purchase with documentation of the purchase. Shipping fees

Original shipping fees paid for your purchase are not refundable as part of a return or exchange. A pre-paid merchandise return slip will typically be sent with the order when buying something on Lowes.com.

The steps below must be followed in order to return or exchange a product using the prepaid item return slip:

  1. Put the item in a reliable shipping container.
  2. Include ONLY the products for which you were given a prepaid return slip.
  3. Include all original packaging, manuals, and extras from the manufacturer.
  4. Remove the return slip, fill it out, and send it with your package.
  5. Apply the shipping label to the package that is included.
  6. Alternatively, you can leave the package at any carrier facility or hand it to your local parcel carrier.

  • To make the return, just stop by the Lowe’s nearest you.
  • Items that have been delivered or sent to a customer and are being returned to a retailer are subject to the same conditions as stated in the previous section on returns.
